My friends have been encouraging me to blog about nonathletic things and โ€œgoing after Godโ€ is what keeps rattling around in my brain. At the beginning of the pandemic I made a commitment to pray over things instead of acting impulsively or doing everything my own way. This requires me to surrender daily and defy social norms. But it makes sense before I cared about the things that happen in every season of my life God cared about it! So, what I want to accomplish at work, the impact I want to make in childrenโ€™s lives through sports, finding a man to do life with and the warmth I want to share with those around me are already apart of His plan for ME. I guess what Iโ€™m trying to say is things will feel different if you run everything through the โ€œFather filterโ€ firstโ€ฆ

PS: My hair was owning this shot so I had to post๐Ÿ”ฅ

This is a beautiful, almost stately piece that is understated enough to wear with jeans.
